OOYALA ACCELERATES ENTRY INTO JAPANESE MARKET WITH LOCALIZED VIDEO PUBLISHING PLATFORM

Online video platform technology leader announces general availability of localized publishing platform and self-serve website for Japan

(Mountain View, CA) January 27, 2010 - Ooyala, Inc., a leading provider of end-to-end video platform applications and services, today announced the launch of its Japanese website and publishing platform.

With this new release, customers will be able to create and manage their video publishing account in Japanese. This announcement comes on the heels of Ooyala's expansion into Japan with its partner, NTT SMARTCONNECT, an NTT Holdings subsidiary.

Companies can now quickly create an account from the newly launched Japanese corporate website (http://www.ooyala.jp). Once the account is created, uploading, analytics, syndication and ad serving features can all be managed in Japanese. For Japanese companies with an International footprint, the Ooyala video player automatically detects the browser language settings and adjusts the player controls and closed captioning to accommodate the consumer.
